OUR HISTORY
1930
Our story begins in 1930 when Nikolaos Malevitis laid the foundations of a timeless tradition by founding the first mosaic factory in Athens. With an innovative spirit and deep dedication to the art of mosaics, he revolutionized the field of mosaic floors, creating quality standards that continue to inspire to this day. His passion for excellence marked the beginning of a journey that has continued dynamically for almost a century.
1965
His son, Panagiotis Malevitis, followed in his father’s footsteps, expanding the family business with vision and determination. In 1965, he elevated the company to a new level, making it one of the most recognized in the mosaic field. At the same time, he established the family-owned quarry, known for its exceptional quality Skyros marble, capitalizing on Greece’s natural heritage.
1984
As time passed, the third generation of the family brought a renewed approach, filled with inspiration and creativity. In 1984, Nikolaos Malevitis, continuing the tradition, founded a new production facility, where specialized marble constructions gave the company a fresh artistic breath. The family tradition met creative innovation, shaping unique solutions that reflected the luxury and aesthetic beauty of marble.
2014
Today, the tradition is passed on to the fourth generation. Panagiotis Malevitis, the successor of a rich legacy, combines decades of experience and values with the latest technology. In 2014, he founded Earth Marbles with the aim of creating unique marble works designed to aesthetically elevate any space. Earth Marbles is not just a company; it embodies a philosophy that combines the natural beauty of marble with the craftsmanship and passion of a family that has served this art for four generations.

In 2024, tradition and innovation came together once again with the creation of Earth Shop, a new initiative of the Malevitis family.
